Honoring the history of York

Opened on January 16, 2017, Iron Horse York is the vision of Calogero Elia who's other ventures include Cafe Fresco Paxton Street in Harrisburg.

"Once I saw the space, I saw the vision."

Located in downtown York's Continental Square, the space was vacant for years waiting for the right tenant. "Charlie" as he's known to his regulars designed the space by embracing the York community, including table legs from Salvaging Creativity, table tops from local craftsman Matthew Shober and light fixtures from Refindings in York.

While you're dining, don't miss the machine drawings for the old York Ice Factory that hang throughout the space that only add to the historical local vibe.
